Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a sought-after, impactful profession that enables meaningful, positive change in individuals' lives. It is a compelling scientific discipline that integrates theoretical knowledge, evidence-based practical skills, and diverse career opportunities, while rigorously investigating the factors that influence human behavior.
Behavior analysts examine the relationship between environmental variables and behavior, identify behavioral challenges, and develop individualized intervention programs that result in significant and sustained behavioral change. The field supports diverse populations across varied settings, including schools and kindergartens in both general and special education, as well as family-centered interventions in home environments.
There is growing demand for behavior analysts in both the public and private sectors across a wide range of educational and therapeutic settings.
The Behavior Analysis Training Program at Ono Academic College is designed to advance the field of behavior analysis in Israel by preparing outstanding female professionals. The program integrates comprehensive and current scientific knowledge, evidence-based applied competencies, and socio-cultural sensitivity. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of individuals and communities through the systematic application of behavior-analytic principles, while upholding academic excellence, professional and ethical responsibility, innovation, compassion, and meaningful social impact.
The program is designed explicitly for Haredi women and operates within a respectful, culturally responsive framework. The learning environment includes culturally adapted settings, relevant academic and professional support, and preservation of values related to modesty, identity, and community belonging. This cultural adaptation is integral to the program's core objectives: empowering Haredi women, advancing workforce leadership, and expanding access to rigorous, evidence-based professional education.
